Your hosts, Paul, Sarah and family moved to Cortijo Buenavista from Norwich to enjoy the Spanish culture and lifestyle, wanting to live in 'Real Spain'. After looking from the North of Spain to the south, we found our Cortijo five minutes from Rute, on top of a hill surrounded by olive groves, overlooking Lake Iznajar and with views of the snow capped Sierra Nevadas in the winter. The original 'view to die for' and the peace and quiet we never had in England. Our Cortijo is centrally located between Cordoba, Sevilla, Malaga, Granada, Sierra Nevada mountains and Antequera. Five minutes drive from the small town of Rute and 20 minutes from Iznajar. The property is situated in an unspoiled rural location overlooking the beautiful Lake Iznajar and surrounded by mountains which are carpeted by olive groves, producing some of the finest olive oil in Spain. |
We have two superb self contained apartments, each accommodating 2 to 4 persons, which are extensively furnished and fitted to provide for your every need. The apartments have the most wonderful views over the Lake of Iznajar the surrounding countryside and mountains. Lake Iznajar is the largest lake in Andalucia and the 3rd largest lake in Spain, being used for a variety of water sports. Alternatively you can relax in the peaceful surroundings of olive groves or visit the many lovely cities and towns all around us. We also have a large 72mē swimming pool surrounded by sun drenched terraces for your use, a fitness room (complete with gymnasium) plus a beauty salon providing professional treatments by Sarah, who is a fully qualified beauty therapist. So come and enjoy the friendly family atmosphere with all the comforts of home and more |
