From Malaga airport Take the Motorway signposted to Malaga; then keep on the motorway following signs for Cordoba/Granada/Sevilla. E15 A7 Take the A45 (331) at junction 241, sign posted for Cordoba/Granada/Sevilla. Stay on this motorway for about half an hour until the motorway splits. Stay in the left hand lane signposted , Sevilla Cordoba and Antequera. A45 Follow the motorway sign posted for Benameji, Cordoba, there is a round about, head for Lucena, Cordoba (single lane at this stage) N331 Head towards Benameji, Lucena, Cordoba on the N331. Keep following road, it takes you onto motorway again A45. Take Exit 72 (N331) Encinas Reales, Rute A344. You come to a round about, take the Rute turn A344. Continue on this road (9km) until you come to the 3km marker. Just after the marker, there are two large terracotta pots on left, take the track opposite the pots. Follow track, you will come to a white building on the left, the road splits at this point, take the road on the right and go up the hill. Our Cortijo is at the top of the hill on the right. The track in total is 1.6km. |
| From Granada airport Leave the airport and follow the signs for A92 Malaga/Sevilla/Antequera. Just after Cuesta Blanca (approx 50kms) The A92 splits into the A92 and the A359. Follow the A92 and leave at junction 1 Salinas and Villanueva de Tapia A333. At the junction, turn left towards Villanueva de Tapia and Iznajar. Keep following the main road over two bridges towards Rute. As you enter Rute there is the Hotel Maria Luica on the left, take the road on the left directly after the hotel A344. (signposted Encina Reales) Follow road for about 3km until you come to two large terracotta pots on right (just short of the 3km marker); take the track opposite on the left. Follow track, you will come to a white building on the left, the road splits at this point, take the road on the right and go up the hill. Our Cortijo is at the top of the hill on the right. The track in total is 1.6km. |
