In the first of the Special Reports on the surroundings to Buenavista and the Farm, this week we vist Punta de Teno, Teno Bajo – the Teno Lighthouse, and talk about how to get to Teno by bus from Buenavista. Projects on the Go Lots to do at the old farm house restore in Tenerife Canary Islands Spain
This week we assess what needs to be done and then get on with doing a few projects that are on the list. We reveal a beautiful stone floor in the barn, fix a crappy toilet installation for the neighbour, (got permission to be able to use it ), have another go at finishing the waterproofing of the flat concrete roof on the workshop, start white washing the stone walls… and see what else needs doing at the old farm house restoration project in North West Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
The challenges of being off-grid continue with solar electricity, a limited water supply, 12v pumps, no toilet facilities…

This week Toby takes the tractor out to use the fail mower for the first time in the farm. Before setting off the mechanic gives it a once over.

In the week before last video Catherine McGuire with her partner Allen came to holiday in Puerto de la Cruz , Tenerife. I have known Catherine for many years both professionally and personally and it was a delight to catch up after so long.
